When these warnings are received by the stations, it is displayed by a black canvas cone. |

The cone is of one meter height and one meter width, appears as a triangle. |
|
|
A north cone (hoisted upward) is displayed when gale expected from N'ly direction. |
|
|
North cone may be displayed to an E'ly or W'ly gale when it is expected to change to a N'ly direction. |
|
|
A South cone is displayed when gale expected from south. |
|
|
South cone may be displayed when E'ly or W'ly gale expected to change to a S'ly direction. |
