...history...

Based in Beverly, Massachusetts, My Pet Demon showcase an exhilerating return to the roots of thrash metal. With sounds and lyrics reminiscent of 70's thrash metal and hard rock, My Pet Demon have become a noteworthy band on the North Shore Heavy Metal scene. Ken Pellegrino, lead vocals and guitar, possesses a devil-may-care stage presence, which by no means compromises his skill. Alex Pirrotta compliments Pellegrino with bluesy, melodic hooks that contrast Pellegrino's style. On the low end is Adam Fullerton, who keeps a tight communication between the percussion and string sections of the band. Matt Kenney tops out the crew, producing energetic grooves and hard hitting blast beats.

My Pet Demon began in October of 2000 with members Ken Pellegrino and Alex Pirrotta. Their goal was the creation of an old-school metal band with bluesy, melodic undertones. Employing Adam Fullerton on bass and Kevin O'Leary on drums, the band began to build a worthy repertoire at rehearsals. O' Leary departed in the summer of 2001 due to deteriorating interest in the band. My Pet Demon wasted no time recruiting Matt Kenney to fill the part. That November, the bands first EP, A Newfound Evil (2001) was recorded and eventually sold hundreds of copies. Currently, My Pet Demon have released a new full-length album, Crime Pays (2004) and continue to play around Massachusetts.
