E-mail: twmolakides@menlopark.org On January 12, 2000 at approximately 3:15 P.M., a subject approached two Menlo Park juvenile males, ages 13 and 14 and asked them if they would like to see some pornographic magazines. The two boys agreed and went with the subject to a vacant apartment at 350 Sharon Park Drive where they were shown pictures in several magazines which included Playboy, Over 40 and Hot and Raunchy Sex #5. At 3:50 P.M. after leaving the apartment, the juveniles reported the incident to the Menlo Park Police Department. Officers met with the boys and conducted an investigation which included identifying the suspect and interviewing him. The suspect is a 36 year old Hispanic Male from East Palo Alto and is an employee of the 350 Sharon Park Drive apartment complex. The case has been filed with the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office requesting misdemeanor charges be filed for Annoying and Furnishing Harmful matter to Minors. (647.6(a) and 313.1(a) of the Penal Code.) Due to the ages of the children no further information will be released. |
