On Friday evening, January 25, 2002, Menlo Park Police Detectives and San Jose Police Officers arrested twenty four year old Albert Nathaniel Rios, DOB: 03-08-77, of San Jose, for numerous charges of sexual assault against a child. The assaults occurred in Menlo Park. Rios was arrested in San Jose without incident. Rios was booked into the San Mateo County Jail in Redwood City. Rios was charged with eight counts of lewd acts with a minor, five counts of oral copulation with a minor, two counts of digital penetration of a minor, and one count of unlawful sex with a minor.

The victim is safe and with her family at this time. Due to the age of the victim and the nature of the charges no further information can be released.
