The Menlo Park Police Department is investigating the disappearance of a 40 year old Menlo Park woman named Kayoko Tomoikari. On Friday, 01-10-03, Ms. Tomoikari's red 1996 Toyota Corolla was found parked and unoccupied in a parking lot of the San Francisco Presidio less then half a mile from the Golden Gate Bridge. A note suggesting the possibility of suicide was found in the vehicle.

Our investigation revealed that Ms. Tomoikari had suffered from depression and had apparently been taking medication. An extensive area check for Ms. Tomoikari was conducted around the Presidio and Golden Gate Bridge, with negative results.

Ms. Tomoikari is Japanese and described as 5'3", 100 pounds, dark eyes and shoulder length dark hair.
