Multi-Agency Narcotic Sales Arrest The San Mateo County Narcotics Task Force and Menlo Park Police Detective Eric Cowans culminated a two-month long investigation with the arrest of Johnnie Johnson today in Johnson's Menlo Park home. Johnson, 50 years, was booked into San Mateo County jail on charges of possession of narcotics for sale and resisting arrest. Detective Cowans said that he received numerous complaints of drug sales emanating from Johnson's home. Cowans teamed with the San Mateo County Narcotics Task Force to investigate these complaints. His investigation resulted enough facts for a San Mateo County judge to issue a search warrant of Johnson's residence. Today, Detective Cowans, along with other Menlo Park Police Officers and Detectives, and Narcotics Task Force Special Agents searched Johnson's home confiscating approximately $20,000. in cash and ½ ounce of crack cocaine with an estimated street value of $1,400. Johnson locked himself into his car and agents were forced to break the vehicle's window to extricate and arrest Johnson. ### |
