Computer Generated Child Fingerprinting The Menlo Park Police Department will be conducting electronic fingerprinting for children at the Connoisseur's Marketplace this weekend July 20 and 21 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at its information booth located on Santa Cruz Avenue. The process takes about 5 minutes and consists of a computer-generated photograph and scanned fingerprints. This will be the 3rd consecutive year the Menlo Park Police Department has provided this service free of charge. The Menlo Park Police Department has recently obtained two digital fingerprint computer units, through Community Oriented Policing Service (COPS) grant funds this year. In past years the Menlo Park Police Department has provided this service with equipment borrowed from the Amber Foundation. For any questions, please contact Detective Louis Tommei. |
