ATTEMPTED SEXUAL ASSAULT

As the female began to descend the crosswalk, the suspect was there waiting for her. He grabbed the victim who then struck the suspect, screamed and broke away. The suspect fled on his bicycle eastbound across the overpass. Menlo Park Detectives are investigating any possible similarities between this case and the sexual assault that occurred on July 14, 2001. The suspect in this case is described as a Hispanic Male, 20-22 years old, 5’6" tall, thin build, short black hair, black tee shirt, dark jeans, tennis shoes and riding an old bicycle.
