E-mail: atbouja@menlopark.org Media Contact: Sergeant Terri Molakides, Media Relations Telephone: (650) 858-3386 E-mail: twmolakides@menlopark.org On September 5, 2001 at approximately 3:09 P.M. the Menlo Park Police Department received information regarding the location of Rick Joseph Edmonston, 33 of Menlo Park, a wanted felon who had been absconding from the California Department of Corrections. The wanted subject was the same person who was wanted for questioning regarding the police chase that started in Menlo Park on 09-04-01 at 10:14 A.M. and ended near U.S. 101 and Ellis Street in Mtn. View a short time later. Several officers from the Menlo Park Police Department surrounded the residence where the suspect was reported to be (1200 block of El Camino Real in Menlo Park). The suspect was taken into custody from inside the residence without further incident. Suspect Rick Joseph Edmonston was booked into the San Mateo County Jail on his outstanding warrants.
