On 11-28-02 at approximately 8:05 pm, Menlo Park Police officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Hamilton Ave. regarding a stabbing. Officers found the victim, twenty year old Deshawn Stubbs, of Menlo Park, with a stab wound to his right hand. The wound was not life threatening.

Stubbs apparently got into an argument with the two suspects, who were making advances on his girlfriend. The argument escalated into a fight, and Stubbs was stabbed once in the right hand. The suspects then fled the area and escaped. The suspects are both described as being Black males.

The first suspect was 5-10, 180 lbs. in all dark clothing. The second suspect was 5-10, stocky, wearing a red jogging suit, and black “Kangol” style hat. The suspects may have fled in a red Dodge Neon, with an unknown license plate.

Anyone with information on the stabbing, or the suspects, is asked to call Officer Kevin LaPlant, or the Menlo Park Police Investigations Unit at (650) 858-3300.
