Cashel is located near the middle
of southern Ireland in Co.
Tipperary. The Rock
of Cashel was the seat of Irish kings for many years. These ruins
were mainly church buildings the were contsructed in the 1500's.
There were many different structures on this site over a period of hundreds
of years. At the Bru
Boru Heritage Center one can enjoy a show featuring traditional Irishing
music and dancing.

This is Cahir Castle, located in Cahir which is about 5 minutes south of Cashel. It is a very well preserved castle and at one point thought to be the most impenetrable castle in Ireland until Oliver Cromwell's forces breached one of it's walls.
