What is Love?
"to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of
praise upon your lips"
Kahlil Gibran
Does love conquer all? Does it really make the world turn round?
Or are we too busy lost in our own cliches to realise that love has it's
limits? We all have our differant desires, we all have had someone
in our hearts, our minds, even our arms at one stage. But what do
you see when you look back upon the past? Which do you remember more?
All the happy moments that you spent with that person, or the sadness of
realising that what love gave you, it also took away ten times worse?
How is it possible to stop loving someone? I mean, you reach a
point in your relationship where you love this person with all your heart.
They bring untold joy into your life and you want to spend every waking
minute of every day with them. Your heart aches every time that you
have to leave because when you go, you feel that little bit more empty,
for part of your heart is staying with them, and you don't get it back
until you see them again. You remember their touch, the feel of their
skin, the scent that they wore, even the taste of their lips. You
carry that with you, not even in your mind, but within your heart, it seems
to have a better memory. So after all of this, it brings us back
to the question. How is it possible to stop loving someone?
Does it mean that you never loved them in the first place? Does it
mean that all the memories you had were just a sham?
Honestly, do you expect me to write that answer down here? Sorry,
but these are questions that you have to ask yourself. I know my
answers and it's important that we should be able to answer the questions
that we put to ourselves. Besides, it's 7:10am, I have an excuse
not to keep going on, I'm tired!!!! I haven't been to bed yet because
I was up watching the Australian Grand Prix.
So on that note, I'm going! Have a nice day/night and rememeber,
SMILE!!!!!!
