CD Reviews:
DC Talk - Jesus Freak
This was my first Christian Music Cd. Ever since this Cd I have loved listening to Christian Rock Music. This is not DC
Talk's first album though. Earlier albums were more centered on rap. I was very surprised at this album because they jump
right into the rock scene. It is simply an amazing Cd. The album starts out with heavy guitars and awesome vocals by the
three members of DC Talk. The song is called "So Help Me God", and is full of heavy guitars and amazing music. The next song
should be on my list of 25 favorite songs. It is called "Colored People"...SIMPLY INCREDIBLE!!! The band totally tackles
prejudice and makes an absolutely awesome song. The song after this is really good too. It is called "Jesus Freak" and the album
is named after this song. It contains a mixture of rock and rap. I used to like rap, and I absolutely love rock. This was a great
song though. The next song is a beautiful song, very soft and very praise worthy. The song is called "What If I Stumble." Ever seen
the play Godspell? You might notice the song "Day By Day." A great song taking the Godspell song to a new level. The next song
called "Between You and Me" has been played on most lite music stations I've heard. I've heard it a lot a various malls around.
Another song on this album is "In the Light", a song on my top 25 favorite songs. This song has a reggae and rock beat...simply awesome.
My Rating - GO AND BUY THIS ONE!!! Makes a great start, or addition to any number of albums you may have. Start the way I started,
and you will not be disappointed by this album. I really think you will love it.

DC Talk - Supernatural
I believe that they did a greatest hits album between this one and Jesus Freak. This is an amazing album. If you are like me, you will
listen to it and then think..."Well, it is okay I guess!" Do us both and favor and listen to it the next day and you will love it. Don't know
why this happens but you will become very very into it after a couple times listening through. I love the song "Dive", very different and has a
great chorus. Kevin Max's voice sounds simply amazing as always. He has such a unique and awesome voice. The next song is a beautiful song and
sounds simply romantic and the words are very very good. The next song is very very unique. You will never hear an album as unique as this one.
The song is called "My Friend (So Long)". I remember seeing this video and thinking "Wow, this is really different!" It is a really good and catchy
song. The next song is another soft and beautiful song called "Fearless." Michael Tait has the perfect voice for this song, followed by awesome background
vocals by the other two. Another song I just love and is on my top 25 favorite song list is "Since I Met You." This song sounds like a surfer song...you have
to hear it to believe it. This next song is amazingly powerful and has very beautiful lyrics. The song is called "Into Jesus". I like this song a lot and it
sounds really good. The next song is the album name song "Supernatural". This song is very very good and the music is very different. This is a very heavy rock
song.
My Rating - This one is an awesome album. This is one of my favorite albums ever. The songs are so different and very very good. This is another excellent
album by a band that proves time and time again that it belongs in the tops of the Christian Music charts.
