David M. Bailey

CD Reviews:

David M. Bailey - Peace

I am very sure that he would laugh right now if he saw the bands and artists that I organized him with. David is more of a special folk singer (go to his web page and read his biography), but his music rocks to me (no pun intended). His guitar is simply amazing and he is simply awesome. I never thought I would ever book a concert!!! Well, I did and what an amazing day in my life. E-mailing David to come to give a concert at my college. I never thought I could do it! I did it. He sent me one of his albums and I listened to it and listened to it. I loved it. When he came, I was just amazed and very very happy. I bought all the albums that he was selling except for the one he had already sent me. His first album (as a solo artist) is called Peace. This album has one of my favorite songs by him called "Live Forever". This song is amazing, as is most of David's song. The song after this is another one of my favorites called "Time Is In My Mind". This song is followed by another beautiful song called "In My Life." Another great song on this album is called "My Hero", a very beautiful song. "Weaver's Delight" is an amazing acoustic instrumental song by David. It is really really good.

My Rating - The only way to buy his albums are through his web site. This is a great way to start your David M. Bailey collection. Visit his web site and learn more about him before you buy his albums.

David M. Bailey - Love The Time

This album is really really good. I love the first song on the album called "In Your Hands". The second song has the same title as the album, "Love the Time". This song is an amazing song, and is sung at most of David's concerts. A very beautiful song by a very talent artist. Another song that is amazing on the album is "I Love You." This song is very soft and very romantic. The next song is "Everything Will be Alright". This song is beautiful to listen to when you are having a hard day. It is a very beautiful song. The last song on the album is called "Rome" and is a favorite from David's fans. It is an amazing song, about people's hopes and dreams, and says that things take time, "because Rome wasn't built in a day."

My Rating - This is a good one to buy. It is typical David, and as always beautifully written and beautiful sounding.

David M. Bailey - One More Day

This was my first taste of what David M. Bailey sounds like. It simply amazed me and continues to do so everytime I put it in the Cd player. The first song is called "When We're in Love", and sounds somewhat jazzy. The next song is one of my favorite songs by David, it is called "It Shines". It is a really dreamy song and is about a conversation between a little boy and his father. It is something you can really picture when you hear the lyrics. The next song has the same title as the album, "One More Day". This song is played at most of David's concerts. It is a really really good song. Another great song on the album is called "Simple Things". It has a great tune and is a very relaxing song. An upbeat song on this album is called "When It Rains It Pours". This song is a crowd favorite because David lets the crowd do the chorus to the song. It is so funny because the timing is always off and the people gradually get better at it the last couple of times. It is a really fun song! Another great song on this album is "One Day in Gettysburg", and it is an amazing song. The song has great lyrics and sounds very cool. This song has a touching ending as he sings "Amazing Grace" and lets the crowd join in during his concerts. The next song is a very romantic song called "And You". This is a beautiful song, and the words are very nice. This is one of my favorites, kind of makes you teary eyed. :)

This is an amazing album by an amazing artist. I never get tired of this album. I love it more every time. I would definitely buy this one.

David M. Bailey - Life

The next album that David created is absolutely wonderful. He never ceases to amaze me. The album starts off with "Summer Song". This is a very fun song and the chorus will be in your head for a while. This song is followed by "The Hard Way", a beautiful song and is about how to deal with a hard day. One of my favorite songs on this album is called "The Painter and the Poet". This song is a really neat song. The guitar is really good in this song and the lyrics are neat. The next song is called "What the Rainbow Sounds Like". This is a very beautiful song and the guitar is just plain amazing. The next song is called "Hey" and this is a real crowd favorite. It is a really fun song and it is very catchy. The next song reminds me of my love "She's Got Style". It is such a beautiful song and I think of her when I hear it. Another song I like on the album is "On A Day Like Today". This song is really upbeat and I never get tired of it. Another great song on this album that really makes you think is "If I had Another". This is a really great guitar song. The end of the album is a beautiful worship song called "Already." This is such an amazing song.

My Rating - Another soild album from David M. Bailey. This is probably my favorite album from David. A great buy of David's, just like all of them are.

David M. Bailey - Live

This has introductions, live songs, and live words from David M. Bailey. It makes you feel like you are right there in concert from your CD player. David highlights some of his best songs from his albums and puts some of his new ones on too. David's words have just as much meaning in them than his songs. An amazing artist releases his best.

My Rating - An amazing live album from one of my favorites. His guitar is just plain beautiful and his live albums are just as good as his studio albums. This is a must buy if you have seen him in concert, you will feel like you are there again. A must buy in my opinion.
