NO FUN RULES
No FUN-->    Is about the most challenging CFS2 can get.  Turning off All
visual aids, and flying much as the pilots of WWII had to do.
Using only your eyes, ears and teammates to spot and engage
                    the opponent.

ALL visual aids most be shut off.  The easiest way to to this

is to hit alt, then click on the cfo option on the task bar, then

click No FUN.  This does it automatically.  Except for the

padlock (the yellow target box around enemy), it is up to you

not to hit the targeting button while you are flying.  ONCE YOU

HAVE PADLOCKED, IT WILL NOT GO AWAY !

If you do not have cfo option all aids must be shut off  by

hand.  The list is as follows :   Radar                          Shift+T
                                                             Aircraft Labels             Ctrl+Shift+L
                                                             Indicator Cone              I
                                                             Damage Text (
optional)    Shift+D
                                                             Do Not Hit Padlock !

What you should be left with is nothing more than what your

eyes can see out your canopy.  Some people will play no fun with

the HUD being ok, others without it, using the cockpit view only.

No Fun matches will most often be set as US vs Jap.  This for

easier identification of the opponent.  The host may decide to limit

the aircraft that are flyable to even up the battle.  Each No Fun will

probably be different, so listen carefully to the instructions given by

the host.  Avoid cluttering the chat room, the host will need to breif

everyone in the room on the type of game your playing.

This is an HONOUR game ! Their is no way to verify that all

pilots are following the guidelines ! So it is up to you to play fair and

honorably at all times.  Not playing by the rules takes away from your

and others flight-sim experience.  Enjoy the battles !    ~S~
