Here is a list of charities that Julio Iglesias supports, along with information on how to make a donation.
Created by the United Nations General Assembly in 1946 to help children after World War II in Europe, UNICEF was first known as the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund. In 1953, UNICEF became a permanent part of the United Nations system, its task being to help children living in poverty in developing countries. Its name was shortened to the United Nations Children's Fund, but it retained the acronym "UNICEF," by which it is known to this day.
UNICEF helps children get the care and stimulation they need in the early years of life and encourages families to educate girls as well as boys. It strives to reduce childhood death and illness and to protect children in the midst of war and natural disaster. UNICEF supports young people, wherever they are, in making informed decisions about their own lives, and strives to build a world in which all children live in dignity and security
Julio Iglesias was named UNICEF Special Representative for the Performing Arts on 1 March 1989 by former UNICEF Executive Director, James P. Grant. In announcing the appointment, Mr. Grant stated, "Julio's great talent has made him one of the best known entertainers in the world and we are very glad that he is willing to help us to promote UNICEF's message on behalf of the world's underprivileged children. We are also pleased that he has agreed to do a series of major concerts around the world to benefit UNICEF."

DONA CHARO CENTER
(Taken From the Julio Iglesias Web Site)
Dear Friends,
Doņa Rosario de la Cueva, affectionately called Doņa Charo by those who had
the pleasure of knowing her, was a wonderful woman, wife, mother and
grandmother.
Today we deeply mourn her death, while rejoicing that we had for many years a
person, who in her simplicity and her humanitarianism, showed us that the true
meaning of life resides in the heart.
Doņa Charo showed her great love of God and of life not only by attending her
beloved Corpus Christi Church, but also by devoting herself to good works,
helping the needy. For this reason as a posthumous homage in order to preserve
her name and her work, her sons Carlos Iglesias and our beloved Julio Iglesias
have decided to create a Center in her name to continue helping, as she did in
life, those who need it the most. We are sure that this will give her peace and
cause her soul to rejoice.
We ask all those who would like to donate to contact Father Jose Luis who is in
charge of the Center. You can call him at (305) 635-1331 or send your donation
to this address:

Only think for a moment of those who need you and you will realize that you have
much to give them. Join this marvelous cause and help preserve the legacy of Doņa
Charo. Please remember that every donation from the heart no matter how small is
a great help, and will be equally appreciated.
With much affection,
Maribel Dominguez
