Secret Mystery Modes
You can open up the special Mystery Modes after you have found a certain number of Banana Fairies. After you have acquired a certain number of Fairies, some form of secret will be unlocked. Good luck!

Obtain the Rareware Coin
To get the Rareware coin, score 5000 points in the arcade game JetPac.

Obtain the Nintendo Coin
To get the Nintendo coin, you must go to the original DK mini-game. Beat 4 levels with only one life, and you'll get a gold Banana. Beat those four levels over again to get the coin.

Mysterious DK Mounds
In many places in the game, you will see some DK mounds. If you have found any Banana Fairies, you can stand on those mounds and do the special charge attack that Mrs. Fairy gave you. A large multicolored coin will pop out of the mound. If you take it, 5 Banana coins will be given to all Kongs.

Secret Ending
To see the special ending to DK64, you must collect all 201 Golden Bananas, the Nintendo and Rareware coins, all 20 Banana Fairy pictures, at least 10 Battle Crowns, and all Banana Medals. Then defeat K. Rool again.
