Control the Final Camera
To do this trick you MUST have a second controller and have it plugged in when you start the game. If you have more than 70 stars, you can go up the endless stairs to the third Bowser. Beat him, and then when the end comes, you can control the camera with the second controller. Just use the Control Stick to rotate the view and look at other things in each level.

Yoshi's Present
After you have gotten 120 Stars, go outside the castle. Go down to the lake and look for a cannon. Once you see the cannon, hop in and shoot towards the right side of the castle roof. Make sure you are aiming high. Yoshi is on this side of the roof. Talk to him. He will give you 100 lives and a brand new Triple Jump.

Harder Penguin Race
After getting 120 Stars and beating the game, return to Course 4 for a rematch with the penguin! He's bigger and faster, and is much more challenging.

Wing Cap Warp

In the Shifting Sand Land course, go to the palm tree by the oasis, climb the tree and get an extra life. Then slide down the tree and you will be transported to a platform where there is a wing cap.

Life Reversal Trick (Japanese Version Only)
In the final battle with Bowser, some flames turn into coins. If you collect 1000 of those coins during the final battle, a "M" will appear next to the amount of lives. Now each time you die, you will gain a life. The only way this "M" can be lost is if you talk to Yoshi when you have 120 stars.
