PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE CONTINUING!
The "Fifth Slot Item" codes posted below are great if you want items you can't normally get. However, the codes must be used wisely. They can cause you problems if you aren't careful.

• The item codes will put an item into the fifth slot of a character's inventory. The item will be added immediately after the character's attack in their own phase of the battle.

• Enemies can obtain items that you cheat for. Due to the nature of the game's AI, the enemy will not equip the item unless it runs out of its primary weapon.

• Once you equip an item, it is moved up to the first slot. If the item you cheated for moves out of the fifth slot, a copy of that item will be placed into the slot once your attack is finished. THEREFORE, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT AFTER FIVE TURNS YOU HAVE ONLY THE ITEM YOU CHEATED FOR IN YOUR INVENTORY.

In order to prevent the unwanted effects of these codes, we strongly recommend that you use the code once to gain the item/weapon. After getting the item, save your progress in the mission, quit, and remove the GameShark from the GBA.

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR NEGLIGENT, INCORRECT, OR IMPROPER USE OF THESE CODES. If you follow the guidelines and suggestions listed above, you shouldn't have any problems with the codes. Use the code once to get the item, then turn it off. Easy, right?

1 To see the effects of this code, you must use an item during the Player Phase of any turn. Once you do, the item's quantity will be set to 99 at the indicated slot. If a character uses an item during the Enemy Phase, the amount of the item will be decreased by 1. You can reset the count of an item to 99 at any time by using the item during the Player Phase. This code will work on any item, with any character. It may also set the item count of an enemy's items to 99 as well - if you do not want this to happen, do not use the code.

2 The item you are cheating for will not appear in a character's inventory until that character has attacked during the Player Phase of a turn. It will replace any item already present in the fifth slot. Unless you already have an item in the fifth slot, or you have used the "Slot 5 Item Count Set to 99" code, the quantity for that item will be set to zero. If the item you cheat for is moved out of the fifth slot, a copy of the item will be placed in the slot after you attack! AS A RESULT, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT YOU END UP WITH THE ITEM IN ALL FIVE ITEM SLOTS, COPYING OVER ANY OF YOUR OTHER ITEMS! IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU TURN OFF THE CODE IMMEDIATELY AFTER RECEIVING THE ITEM, IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR ITEMS COPIED OVER!

3 This item can be equipped by any character, and will never run out.

4 This weapon cannot be used. It is included only to complete the full list.

5 This is a regular item, but a musical note appears as the item's icon.
