All these people are piled into the back of a truck waiting to get a ride home with all the things they bought from the Saping market. The truck was so packed full of people and baskets of food and things, but people kept on climbing in. In China, there is always has to be room for one more.
This is bamboo. It is a plant that grows all over south west China and the people use it for all kinds of things: to weave baskets of all sizes, to buid houses, fences, and bridges, to make toys, everything.
