Here is a picture of hill tribe women walking with their empty baskets back down the road. They were carrying dirt from one place to help build a wall in another place in town. They didn't have a pick up truck, or a wheel barrow, they just had baskets and women's backs to carry them. And the best part, they did it all with a smile on their faces.


This is a picture of some Vietnamese girls who I met when I stopped to see how the women were separating the rice from the stalks. These girls were like so many in Vietnam, quick to speak a little English with me and even quicker to smile.
