At the floating market near Can Tho, there are many colorful boats selling bright tropical fruits or flowers, like this boat. It was close to the Vietnamese new Year celebration, so there were many flowers at the market.
Because there are so many boats on the river at the floating market, using motors can be dangerous. So most boats have to use their oars to maneuver in and out. The women stand up and face forward when they row and they are really good at it.
