Supplies You Should Have for 3rd Grade!

Listed below are the supplies that ALL third graders will need to start off the school year. Please purchase these supplies and send them into school by Monday, August 13th. Most should be inexpensive, especially with summer sales.

We use mostly community supplies which means if we all start off the year with these supplies your child shouldn't need any supplies for the rest of the year. Community supplies help children learn how to share and take care of the supplies. No replenishing or anything since we share!
If for some reason our class is low on a supply I will send a note home asking for a donation and you may donate it to our class!

Listed below I have the Grade Level list that is in the school office. A few things have been left off of it though since I may still have a lot of this supply left from last year or we will not need it in our class.You can still send them in but it is not necessary.
I also have added a list of a few other things that students in our class will need this year. Supplies with a * will be community supplies and be shared by the students in our class.

Third Grade School Supply List

zipper case (no boxes)
*4 packs of plain yellow pencils (sharpened if possible) No decorative pencils!
*4 packs looseleaf notebook paper (wide-ruled)- Some of this will be put in our SMILE notebook to use for homework.
*CRAYOLA crayons 24 pack
*CRAYOLA Markers-(thick ones)
*2 large or 4 small glue sticks
1 spiral bound notebook
* Baby Wipes
* 2 boxes of tissue
*Ziploc Bags- Boys (gallon or sandwich) Girls (quart or snack size)
*1 pack of computer printer paper
2 black and white style REGULAR composition notebooks (color doesn't matter)
1 black and white style PRIMARY composition notebook
1 plain white 3-ring binder with plastic pocket on outside (1")
1 plain white 3-ring binder with plastic pocket on outside (1/2")
Book bag (no bags on wheels, please) Students MUST have their bookbag everyday or they are unprepared!!

Other Supplies Required for Mrs. Fitzsimmons's Class (not included on grade level list)

*1 package of 100 3x5 index cards WITH LINES
2 plain folders with pockets and NO PRONGS MUST BE THESE COLORS- 1 green and 1 blue
2 plain folders with pockets and PRONGS MUST BE THESE COLORS- 1 red and 1 yellow
*Handheld pencil sharpener with a cover(no battery operated or fancy ones please!)

ANY SUPPLIES BROUGHT TO SCHOOL OTHER THAN ONES LISTED ON THE SUPPLY LIST WILL BE SENT HOME!

small prizes (like from Dollar Store)
Multiplication flashcards to use at home to practice!!

If you have any old board games or puzzles(with all pieces) at home that you no longer want please pass them on to our class for indoor recess!
