Swiss Family Treehouse Based on the 1960 Disney feature Swiss Family Robinson, the treehouse is an gigantic tree with "roots" 42 feet deep, and over 800,000 fabricated leaves, flowers, and buds. The tree is draped with Spanish moss and contains the bedrooms, a family room, and a water system. There is a 75 ft suspension bridge that allows visitors to view the treehouse. The Jungle Cruise The Jungle Cruise is a popular attraction adapted for the Magic Kingdom from the Disneyland version. Guest are treated to a guided 10-minute safari ride along the Nile, the Congo, the rapids of Kilimanjaro, and the River of Burma. There are Audio-Animatronic animals along the way to give you that realistic experience. The Magic Carpets of Aladdin This ride was introduced in the summer of 2001. You'll ride in large magic carpets that circle around at different heights. What makes this ride unique is that there is a control that allows you to change the angle of the vehicle as well as the height. Children will love this one. The Enchanted Tiki Room Bearing the addition "Under New Management", the Enchanted Tiki Room is a funny, musical show performed by Audio-Animatronic tropical birds. The hosts of the show are Iago from Aladdin and Zazu from the Lion King. Pirates of the Caribbean An indoor boat ride that takes you through a town raided by wild pirates. There is a drop at the beginning, then its smooth sailing through the town filled with drunken, singing pirates. This one will have you singing "Yo-Ho Yo-Ho, a pirates life for me". Trust me. |
