Disney's Deluxe Resorts
Disney's Deluxe Resorts are the most luxurious resorts offered by Walt Disney World.  These resorts have the finest accomodations, dining, and entertainment available.  Some deluxe resorts have monorail access to transport you to various parks and areas.  There are eight deluxe resorts located throughout Walt Disney World.
Disney's Contemporary Resort
The Contemporary Resort is located in the Magic Kingdom area, right next to the park.  The most unique aspect of this resort is that the monorails actually go through the lobby.  Resort guests can catch the monorail in the lobby and ride to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot.  The Contemporary Resort also has a beach and garden rooms.  The California Grill, one of the on-site restaurants, allows guests to dine atop the resort with a view of Cinderella's Castle.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
This is known as Disney's "Flagship Resort".  Also located in the Magic Kingdom area, the Grand Floridian features Victorian designs and pampers guests will superior service.  If you're riding the fairyboat to the park, the Grand Floridian is located on your left, and is massive in size.  The resort has a white-sand beach, a pool area, monorail access, and a number of recreational options.

Disney's Polynesian Resort
The Polynesian Resort is in the Magic Kingdom area as well.  Here, the waterfalls and gardens give this resort an island feel.  There are two pool areas here, and a white-sand beach.  Guests can also enjoy the on-site spa and receive skin therapies and body treatments.  There are also occasional luaus and dinner with fire dancers.

Disney's Boardwalk Inn
Disney's Boardwalk Inn is located in the Epcot area.  Guests here can enjoy the entertainment, shopping, and dining of the Disney Boardwalk area.  There's a health club, sauna, and steamroom available.

Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resorts
The Swan & Dolphin Resorts are located right across the lake from the Disney BoardWalk.  They have beautiful exterior and interior designs, with the Dolphin Resort being in the shape of a giant pyramid.  There are 17 on-site restaurants between the two resorts and a number of recreational activites for guests to choose from.  The Swan & Dolphin have four lighted tennis courts, two health clubs, and jogging paths.

Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort
Located near the entrance to Epcot, the Yacht & Beach Club Resorts are designed to resemble New England sailing clubs.  The feel of being on the ocean is accented by the neighboring waterfronts and fun pool areas located in the resorts.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge
The Wilderness Lodge is centered around the northwestern National Park lodges.  There is a mountainous view with geysers, springs, and authentic Native American carvings.  All of these features plus a white-sand beach and fun pool areas make this one of Disney's most popular resorts.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
This resort is for the animal lovers.  The balconies here overlook a savannah where giraffe, zebra, and other exotic animals roam.  The on-site restaurants serve meals from Africa, India, Asia, and Europe.  There is also a health club equipped with massage rooms.  The resort is also developing some animal programs for guests that will be available in the near future.
