Downtown Disney is probably our favorite place at Walt Disney World, next to the Magic Kingdom. This is a perfect place to spend your first evening in town, before heading to the parks on the days ahead. It's a great way to unwind after a long trip, and to prepare yourself for a great week ahead. The Downtown Disney area is filled with shops, restaurants, and entertainment, and is one of Orlando's top night spots. There are three areas to Downtown Disney: The Marketplace, Pleasure Island, and The West Side.
