Main Street U.S.A. has the pleasure of being the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. With its Victorian-style design and Cinderella's Castle as the backdrop, Main Street provides the perfect atmosphere to start and end your day at the park. Main Street is the home of many Disney merchandise shops as well as other attractions. These include a baker, traditional ice cream parlor and candy shop, a jewelry boutique, and an old-time barber shop. The Main Street Cinema is a popular attraction and has showed everything from silent movies to old Mickey Mouse cartoons. Oh, I almost forgot, there are also horse-drawn trollies too!! With all of its timeless and nostalgic atmosphere, Main Street lives up to its description as "the crossroads of an era".

Main Street is also the location of Disney's famous Main Street Electric Parade and SpectroMagic Parade. Both of these parades take place at night, usually an hour before closing. Crowds start to gather on Main Street up to two hours prior just to get a good seat for the show. You'll see all of your favorite Disney characters and giant floats lit up with big, bright, colorful lights. Disney alternates between the two parades. SpectroMagic is the current parade. No matter which one is showing, it's definately a show you don't want to miss.
