New York Street

New York Street is designed to look just like the real thing.  There are real buildings along with a backdrop of the city.  The fronts of the buildings are the only parts built, so you can't shop or walk around in them.  The Plaza Hotel is one of the buildings on New York Street.  This area is a popular spot for taking pictures, since it looks like anywhere but Florida.  New York Street is the home of the following attractions:

Jim Henson's Muppet*Vision 3-D This is one of the best 3-D attractions we've ever been on.  The muppets are funny as usual, but the two old guys in the balcony steal the show.  The theater is looks exactly like the one from the Muppets TV show.  There are some really good effects in the show, and actual muppets make appearances.  The Hunchback of Notre Dame WE LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!  This is easily Disney's best live show.  It's a musical and the cast is excellent.  The cast really sings the songs from the movie and looks just like them.  They use puppets in some scenes that really add dramatic effects.  The best thing about this play is that the show is so well rehearsed that they change the props and backdrops while the show is still going.  It's continuous enjoyment.  Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set This is a big playground full of oversized leaves, grass, animals, and anything else that you can find in a backyard.  This is a lot of fun for small children.
