ET 601 Lecture 3

The purpose of lecture notes is to outline what the instructor intends to teach and give the student any reading assignments and pre lab exercises to do in preparation for lab.  Student should assume that the material covered and assignments given in lecture notes should help to prepare the student for the lab assignment.

Objectives

To be able to use the if, if/else and switch selection structures in decision making
To be able to use the while, do/while and for repetition structures to execute statements in a program repeatedly (Loops).
To be able to use the break and continue program control statements.
To understand operator precedence
