September: introduce class/school- letter of introduction...size of school, size of class, perhaps names of students for comparisons, number of boys and girls, what your locale is most noted for.

October: hobbies and/or collections of things, and favourite thing to do on the playground, Halloween celebrations - if any

November: favourite food, favourite color, favourite toy, Thanksgiving or Harvest celebrations - if any

December: what one thing they want most for Christmas (personal, not global peace, etc., though that is a noble idea ;-) and perhaps what things they are most thankful for.

January: favourite subject in school, wish for the new year - or new year’s resolution

February: favourite book or author

April: favourite fast-food restaurant or place to eat

May: favourite songs; music artists; television shows; movies
