Card, Birthday
DESCRIPTION:  These colorful cards come in many shapes and colors. They tend to favor pastels and will usually have a humorous or touching saying that is written on both the inside and outside. They come contained in paper shell that must be destroyed.

COMBAT/TACTICS: The cards migrate by catching the eye of passersby and charming them. The charmed persons then mail these cards to friends and relatives. As the outer shell is removed, a save vs Dex is needed to avoid a papercut and 1d6-5 damage. The card then ages the subject one year. This aging only takes place one per year and only by one card. Repeated cards are not cumulative.

HABITAT/SOCIETY:  Cards do not have a social structure. They cannot communicate with each other so they tend to gather around suitable subjects even though only the first one can affect the subject.

YIELD:
Medicinal:  Birthday cards are known to relieve depression.
Spell Components:  Nil
Hide/Trophy Items:  Due to the colorful skin, birthday cards make wonderful decorations.
Treasure:  Some cards have been known to contain money and/or gift certificates.
Other:  Happy Birthday!
