Background
The illegitimate son of one of the Duke's mistresses, he grew up in the royal court. His mother was an abusive alcoholic and he is not sure who his father really is. He has two brothers, one of which hates him.

One of the Duke's mages recognized his potential talent and helped him to enter the Mage's Academy. Unfortunately, he was not a diligent student and spent most of his time carousing at taverns instead of studying. Now, he is out of school and is almost out of money due to his drinking and gambling habits. He would probably join any group of adventurers that promise him the money that he needs to continue his rich style of living.
