Super TEN Mk2

Super TEN with a Bushnell Banner 6-18x50mm Scope

The Super TEN is a very precise air rifle.  Its internal air pressure regulator ensures an excellent shooting consistency.  The general finishing is excellent and shows that BSA pays attention to its products quality.

It uses a bolt action to reload the pellets from a 10-pellet capacity magazine.  Personally, I like the Super TEN's magazine mechanism better than the Super 12's.   The multi-shot magazine allows for very fast reloading in case a second shot is needed.

The PCP action helps its accuracy by providing a virtually recoilless shooting.  Its 400cc air bottle allows for many shots without the need for refilling.  The Super TEN's bottle is the same used by the Super 12, which makes a good interchangeable item if one own both rifles.

On the negative side, the Super TEN is a heavy rifle.  This feature would make me think twice before taking it on a hunt.

Also, this rifle is LOUD!  Therefore, should only be used during the day in order to not disturb the neighbors.

The Banner is a very good scope for the money and provides crystal clear images.  The large objective allows for bright images, which enables its use in low light conditions.  However, the lack of illuminated reticles limits the minimum light conditions.
