This is one most common kinds of Filming. But almost everybody that does snapshots doesn't know many key factors of it. Here you can find all the tips you need to make better looking snapshots. (All snap shots should be taken from 1-2 meters away from skater.

Tips: Grinds & Slides: There are so many ways to take snapshots of grinds. My favorite one is definitely taking the shot while sitting on the ground 45 degrees to the grind target. One thing that is very important when taking this shot is always try to take the shot on the side where you see the skaters face. Unless you like filming his ass. Another way to take grinding pictures is take it straight a line with the ledge. That way it is very easy to tell what kind of grind or slide it is. If it is a board slide or a Hurricane. From my experiences this doesn't look very good. But it's your choice I can't tell you how to take your pictures.

Air and Grab tricks: There are a couple good ways to take air and grab trick pictures. First I will talk about air. Since now there are huge tables and hips is has become very popular you will have to be taking a lot of these kind of pictures. The best thing to do is like the grind go at a 45 degree angle from your target. Depending how big it is then farther you go or closer. Get down low or even lie down on the snow. That way the gap looks bigger. Try to get the picture as the boarder is at the highest point. Another good way to take pictures of jumps is crouching down in the middle of the table or from the bottom or wherever you really like and taking the picture when the boarder is somewhere overtop of you. The shouldn't be directly overtop the should be about a 1 - 2 meters away. It is very hard to do but if you can try to fit the whole gap some of the run way and some of the landing. Another way to do it is to stand up as high as you can and try to get the picture from overtop of the rider. NOTE: Try to include the shadow of the rider so people get a since of how high he/she is.
