Age 5: Introduced to tennis. Chico, California
Age 6-7: Introduced to baseball. Played on a disabled team. Chico, California
Age 8: Introduced to table tennis and wheelchair basketball at the Boys and Girls Club. Also joined a disabled baseball team, The Pirates. I was on this team for 2 years. Santa Cruz, California
Age 10: Invited to join the "Wheels on Fire" wheelchair basketball team. This will be my 5th year with this team! San Jose, California |

Junior Wheelchair National Tournamnet, 1999 Placed first in archery-set a new National record for my age group - 356 points! Placed 2nd in tabble tennis. Bellevue, Washington

Other Fun Trips!
Trip to Alpine Meadows Wheels on Fire took a trip to the Adaptive Ski School and we all had the opportunity to snow ski! Lake Tahoe, California. 1998.
USA Closed table tennis tournament I was invited to watch the competition by friend and mentor Sebastian De Francesco. This enabled me to be exposed to adult competition. A fun and exciting trip! Las Vegas, Nevada. December 1999.
Shared Adventures Day During has included such activites are scuba diving, kayaking, surfing, outrig canoeing, and rock climbing. I liked surfing the best! Santa Cruz, California. 1999 and 2000.
