MIDDLE TENNESSEE FEDERAL EXECUTIVE ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM _______________________________________________________
Purpose:
To encourage and assist qualified students who wish to pursue a college or higher education so that they, in turn, will further the goals and exemplify the ideals of the Middle Tennessee Federal Executive Association.
Terms:
One $500 scholarship for academic year 2002 - 2003. The scholarship must be used during the 2002 - 2003 Academic Year.
All applicants must be students working toward a degree from an accredited school; be enrolled or planning to enroll in a 2 or 4 year post secondary, graduate, or post graduate program.
Eligibility:
Middle Tennessee Federal permanent employee or son/daughter of an active Middle Tennessee Federal permanent employee. (Student Aides do not qualify.)
Applicant or Parent/Guardian must work within the area covered by the Middle Tennessee Federal Executive Association. Counties in this area are: Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Coffee, Davidson, DeKalb, Dickson, Franklin, Giles, Grundy, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Macon, Marshall, Maury, Montgomery, Moore, Perry, Putnam, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren, Wayne, White, Williamson and Wilson.
A graduating high school student or degree seeking college/university student pursuing a degree.
Minimum high school or college/university overall grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale on most recent transcript.
