From Broadway, turn on to Seventh Avenue. Go to the end of the church building and turn left at McGavock. Take a left into Parking Lot D and down the incline to the right. Walk up to the playground area and go to Door # 6, press the buzzer and then walk in. Turn right and go down the hallway to the Fellowship Hall. From the President Ed Phillips Our speaker for the August meeting is Mayor Purcell. The Mayor is an excellent speaker and I know that you and your key staff members will benefit from and enjoy his remarks. It is important that our Federal Executives be present for his remarks. I know he is knowledgeable about State and local government. This is an opportunity for us to increase his awareness of who we are and, perhaps, ensure greater responsiveness to each of you who may occasionally have need for an audience with him. Please assign high priority to this meeting. Thanks.
New MTFEA Website The Middle Tennessee Federal Executive Association now has a new web site at www.oocities.org/mtfea. It has vital information concerning our leadership, scholarship, newsletters, upcoming programs and a directory of all of our members. It also contains our congressional delegation and their contact information, information on the Public Service Recognition Week, on the background of Federal Executive Associations, and other great information for Federal employees. It contains links to FirstGov, a great government search engine, CFC and Savings Bonds information. Visit our web site soon and mark it as one of your favorites.
PUBLIC SERVICE RECOGNITION wEEK MTFEA would like to initiate an annual celebration for Public Service Recognition Week. In order to make this a successful event, we would like to have a minimum of twenty agencies or offices represented. We ask that you make a commitment by October 26, 2001 as to your participation.
