College/Occupation: student at Dartmouth College
Have you been playing any basketball? Played freshman year for Dartmouth. Played some 3 on 3 last weekend and loved it!!
Tell us what you've been doing? Being a student. Went to Germany last winter for three months which was awesome. Traveled around and met some awesome people. On the weekends traveled to Prague, Venice, Barcelona and stayed with a couple friends in Southern Germany, Paris, France and England. (yeah!!). Last summer I worked as a camp counselor in Vermont and met incredible counselors and campers there (where I met my friends from France and Great Britain). Now, I'm a student going into my junior year at Dartmouth (which I can't believe--time goes by so fast) and I hope to do some great experiences in the next couple years INCLUDING come back to Terrace to play with the girls and see all the people who I used to play with and absolutely love.
Favorite MTHS basketball highlight: There's probably a thousand. Going to the 3 on 3 Tourney in Lake Chelan with Jason, Bryan, Liz, Erica, Marika, Lydia, Tracy, and Heather Brown. -Riding with Erica and Liz to games -Driving down to Oregon with Heather Olson to watch Stanford's Jamila Wideman and Kate Starbird play. -Playing with Diane Bedwell in practice. -Lifting weights and running on the track with Melissa. -Working with Jason at Scriber Lake High and at the Mountlake Terrace Pavilion Courts. -Being encouraged by Bryan and Jason. -Summer camp at WSU the summer before my senior year playing with Brenna and Erin McNeley kicking butt on our full-court press. That was a blast -Ohhhh, so many others I know I'm not including everything and everybody who rocked to be around with Terrace BBall
