Chapter Nineteen
"So you're going to come right? The rest of the fellas are gonna be there."
"I don't know AJ. I'm not that big into clubs."
"Come on Alecia, please."
"Oh alright. What time are you guys going out?"
"Well we're leaving here at 7:30."
"Ok I'll meet you all down in the lobby at 7:15 then."
"Great! See ya then honey!" AJ smiled, giving her a hug before walking off.
"Alecia!"
She turned to see Nick coming towards her. "Hi Nick!"
"Hey! So you're coming tonight with us?"
"Yeah, AJ talked me into it somehow. He's way too persuasive."
"That's for sure." Nick smiled. "So I'll see you tonight then."
"Alright see ya then."
"Oh wait, why don't you invite your friends?"
"Alright, I'll see if they want to come."
"Ok, later."
"No one can come! I can't believe this!" Alecia said out loud, staring at her reflection in the mirror. She looked down at her skirt and top and groaned. She shook her head and headed out the door, thoroughly disappointed in her friends. Once in the lobby she met up with the rest of the guys and they headed off to the club.
"This club is tight!" AJ smiled.
"I'm gonna get a drink, anyone want anything?" Howie asked.
He took their orders and went off while AJ when to dance with some girls.
"He just doesn't stop does he?" Alecia asked.
"Nope, he's always on the lookout." Brian laughed.
Howie returned a short while later with the drinks. Aleica sipped on hers and watched the people dancing. Nick stared at her across the table. He watched her lips close around the straw in her drink and his mouth went dry. He desperately wanted to taste those lips.
"Nick...earth to Nick!!!" Brian waved a hand in front of him.
"Huh...what man?"
"What's going on with you? You're awfully quiet, and you're not out there. Usually you're looking for your next...'conquest' as you like to call them."
"Yeah well I don't feel like it ok."
Brian raised his eyebrows. "You don't...feel like it?"
"Yeah, I don't feel like it."
"What's wrong with you?"
"Nothing man! Damn!"
Brian looked at him shocked and then looked out at the dance floor. "Looks like that girl out there is making eyes at you man. Go get her!" He prodded, and watched him carefully.
"Look Rok, I said no ok. Just leave it."
Brian stared at him and then got up and walked over to Kevin.
"Kev, man have you noticed anything different with Nick? I mean he's just sitting there."
Kevin looked over at Nick. "I didn't even notice, but now that you mention it, he does appear to be acting different."
"Yeah, I told him about some girl who was making eyes at him, and he didn't even care. Didn't even look at her."
Kevin raised his eyebrows. "I wonder what's going on."
Aleica looked across the table at Nick. "Nick, why are you out there? Go out and dance, that girl has been looking at you for the last twenty minutes. You can't tell me you didn't notice." She commented, finishing her second drink.
"No, I just don't feel like it. I thought you said you don't drink."
"I decided just for tonight. I can't always be good you know." She smiled and winked.
Nick swallowed and smiled weakly, just then the girl that had been staring at him came up to him.
"Hey, I was wondering if you'd like to dance?" She asked.
He looked over at Alecia who smiled and gestured for him to go.
"I mean if your girlfriend doesn't mind." The girl said, shooting a cold glance over in Alecia's direction.
"Go right a head toots, he's not my boyfriend."
Nick sighed and stood up and walked with the girl onto the dance floor.
Alecia watched him dance with the girl and she shook her head. It was all so natural to him, to be around girls and to be so comfortable, and yet so uncomfortable at the same time. She stood and walked over to the bar and ordered another drink before sitting back down. AJ made his way back over to the table.
"Hey girl, why don't you dance! Shake that ass!" He laughed.
Alecia chuckled. "No thanks, I don't dance. You go back out there."
"Please!"
"Nope, I'd rather watch you." She winked.
AJ rolled his eyes and headed back out on the dance floor.
Alecia smiled and her gaze wandered back over to Nick who was now smiling and grinding with the girl. She laughed, the girls were like putty in his hands. This thought made her think of the promise. She really hoped he could do it. She trusted him, he'd earned it. She smiled and finished her drink and went up to get another.
Nick sat back down, one dance had turned into four and now he was tired. The girl, she was cute and normally she would've been just the kind of girl he went for. He looked over at Alecia and sighed. But he didn't want anyone else, he wanted her.
"Hey Nick!! Slet's go out fancing!"
"Alecia?"
"Please? It'll be flun!" She slurred.
Nick's eyes widened. "Alecia, you're drunk honey."
"I am not! I don't get crunk! Hee hee! Did I say that!" She giggled.
"Ok I'm taking you back to the hotel."
"But Nick, I don't wanna go!!" She whined.
"Uh-huh." Nick got up and told the guys he was leaving and pulled Alecia out of the chair and headed out the door.
"WOW!! I had sooooo much fun!" Alecia laughed, stumbling a little.
"I'm sure you did." Nick chuckled and helped her over to her door, taking her card from her and opening the door.
"Thanks for bringing me here Nick. How can I ever repay you?" She smirked.
"No problem. Try to get some sleep ok." Nick turned to leave.
"Wait, don't leave Nick. Why don't you help me..."
"Uhhh...Alecia..."
"Please." She whispered and looked at him with those brown eyes.
"Ok, come on." He helped her into the room and she stood before him.
"Could you help me take my shirt off?"
"Alecia you can take your shirt off, you don't need me to."
"Yes I do! Please Nick."
Nick took a deep breath and pulled her blouse out from her skirt and started lifting it over her body, finally pulling it off.
"Ok, I think you can do the rest."
"No, you forgot my skirt." She took his hands and put them on her waist. "Just, pull it down..." She whispered.
Nick swallowed and slowly lowered her skirt down to the floor.
"Ok you're all set."
"Thank you Nick."
"Ok I'm gonna go..."
"Well before you go, could you help me to bed please?"
"Alecia..."
She took his hand and lead him over to the bed before wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Thank you for helping me...I know I should repay you for making you bring me back here. Do you have any suggestions?" She murmured.
"You don't have to thank me." Nick replied, reaching up to take her hands away.
"I think I do..." She leaned closer to him and he picked her up.
"Nick!" She squealed as he lowered her on to the bed and pulled the covers over her.
"Get some sleep Alecia, I'll see you in the morning."
"Night Nick." She sighed, before drifting off.
Nick watched her, his body was aching. It'd been torture. He turned quickly and left the room. He walked over to his room, deciding he didn't want to go back to the club and was about to go to his room when there was a tap on his shoulder. He turned.
"Hi, remember me from the club?"
"Oh yeah...Stephanie right?"
"Yeah. I hope you don't mind that I followed you here. I saw you take your...friend back to her room. I just wanted to hang out for a little bit. If you're not busy."
"Uhh...no, I'm not busy but..."
"Well would you like to hang out then? I'm sure we can find something to do to keep ourselves busy." She smiled.
Nick looked at her, it'd be so easy to revert to his old ways. She was right there in front of him. Alecia, she'd never see him as anything but a friend. Stephanie walked past him and into his room, pulling him along with her.
