| Once upon a time Not too long ago, Two planes flew into the World Trade Center And they collapsed in a row. Many people died, And sadness filled the earth But for our country then, A unity was at birth. Indeed it was a tragedy, But some goodness came Because those who were responsible Were now faced with shame. Our country now is one, Fighting for their rights. America's success is beaming out Like bright stadium lights. All of us were affected, In a similar yet different way, But our country still is one And we are here to stay. |
