Once Upon A Time
Chapter One
c) 2001 by Catherine

It was a dark and stormy night. Not a creature was stirring, not even the one asleep under Howie’s watchful gaze. He eased himself carefully into the hotel bed next to him and drew a dark finger down the other man’s spine. He was still asleep and very dead to the world. Most likely he would be for the rest of the night. He had come back from the show quite frisky and Howie had energy to spare as well. They found adequate use of their time together. Their first time together.

Howie couldn’t believe it when he saw his friend come to him as he had. His lips had been wet from licking, his body glistening from the hot shower he had come directly from as he entered Howie’s room.

He had offered to rub Howie’s back and Howie gladly stripped for him, showing his ever well-defined line. His new partner had loosened Howie’s hair and run his fingers through the silky tresses, to lay them gently on Howie’s shoulders as he traced his hands down Howie’s back.

There was no suppressing the moans and groans that the other man’s touches elicited. Howie found he was being led to the bed, placed on his back and left to languish under his new lover’s touch.

So hesitant, so gentle and almost loving. Kisses followed trembling fingers as Howie enjoyed the exploration of his body. When the intensity and the heat became too much for him, Howie dominated his partner and forced him heavily onto his back. Howie dipped his tongue into the other’s mouth and tasted of the forbidden fruit.

This man was his friend and would soon be another lover; one he suspected would be like no one before him. Howie plundered the lean, athletic body beneath him and brought cries of pleasure to his own ears as he opened doors this man had never been near before. Doors that had otherwise been shut to him and against him.

Afterwards he clung to Howie desperately, as tears of unknown origins welled up and spilled forth over his rounded, soft cheeks. Howie kissed him and reassured him that everything was going to be okay. In an unforeseen turn of events, he returned much of the same affection to Howie; kissing him and touching him in very much the same ways.

Howie had been a patient, but eager lover. However, something in this night told Howie that this would never happen again. That for whatever reason this friend had come to him, he wasn’t going to ever return. Something had driven this love to his arms and he suspected he knew what. Better yet, Howie suspected he knew whom.

Morning sun splintered through the hotel room curtains and fluttered off the pale skin and curls next to him. Howie gently kissed his cheek and light eyes fluttered open.

“Brian, I think you’d better go. You better go before Nick comes looking for you.”
