Go placidly amid the noise and the haste and
remember what peace there may be in silence
as far as possilbe without surrender,
be in good terms with all persons
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story
Avoid loud and agressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others
you may become vain and bitter
for always there will be greater and
lesser persons than yourself
enjoy your achievements as well as your plans
Keep interested in your own career,
However humble it is a real possession
in the changing fortunes of time
Exercise caution in your business affair;
for the world is full of trickery
But let this not blind your for what virtue
there is; many persons strive for high ideas
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the faces of all aridity and
disenchantment, it is perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of the youth.
Norture strength of spirit to shield you
in sudden misfortunes.
But do not distress yoursel with imaginings
Many feasts are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline
be gentle with yourself.
Your are a child of the universe
no less thatn the trees and the stars;
you have the right to be here,
and whether or not it is clear to you ,
no doubt the univers is unfolding
as it should
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusions of life
keep peace with your soul
WITH ALL ITS SHAM, DRUDERY, AND BROKEN DREAMS,
it it still a beautiful world.
BE CAREFUL STRIVE TO BE HAPPY.
Compliment three people each day
Look people in the eye.
Say "Thank you" a lot.
Say "please" a lot.
Live beneath your means.
Treat everyone your meet as you want ot be treated.
make new friends but cherish the old ones.
Keep secrets
Admit your mistakes.
Be brave. Even if you're not , pretend t be.
Never cheat.
Give yourself a yar and read a Bible cover to cover.
Learn to listen. Opportunity sometimes knocks very softly.
Never deprive someone of hope; It might be all he/she has.
Pray not for things, but for wisdom and courage.
Don't take action when you're angry.
Never par for work before it's completed.
Don't gossip.
Beware of the person who has nothing to lose.
Don't spread yourself too thin
Learn to say no politely and quickly
Don't expect life to be fair.
Never underestimante the power of forgiveness.
Never walk out on a quarrel with your wife.
Regarding funitures and clothes:' if you thing you'll be using them
For firve yers or longer, buy the best that you can afford.
Be BOLD and COURAGEOUS.
Don't be afraid to say " I don't know"
Don't be afraid to say " I'm sorry"
Do all the good you can
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can.
think
that I shall
never see a poem
as lovely as a tree
A tree whose hungry mouth
is pressed against the earth's
sweet flowing breast, a tree who
looks at God all day, and lifts
her leafy arms to pray. A grass that may in
summer wear, a nest of robins in her hair
upon whose bossom snow has lain; who intimately
lives with rain;
poems made by
fools like
me
but
only
God can
make a tree
Make me a channel of your peace
Where there is hatred let me bring your love
Where there is injury your pardon Lord
And where there is dobut true faith in you
O master , grant that I may never seek
So much to be console as to console
To be understood as to undestand
To be love as to love with all my soul
Make me a channel or your peace
Where there is despair in life let me bring hope
Where there is darkness only light
And where there is sadness ever joy
Make me a channel of your peace
It it in pardoning that we are pardoned
In giving to all men that we receive
And in dying that we are born to eternal life
Every night in this bed
This little prayer inside my head
God Bless all those who hold so dear,
And keep them safe thru coming year;
And God there's just one more thing
I wish you would do
If you don't mind my asking
To bless my computer too?
Now I know that its no normal
To bless a small machine
But listen just a second
And I'll try to explain....
You see this little metal box
Holds more than odd and ends
Inside those small components
Rest a hundred loving friends.
Some, its true, I've never seen,
And most I've never meet.
We had never shaken hands or
Even hugged , and yet...
I know for sure they love me
By the kindness they give
And this little scap of metal
Is now I get ot where they live
By faith is how I know them
So if its ok with you...
Just take an extra minute
From the duties from up above
To bless this little hunk of steel
That's filled wiht so much love
The Lord is my shephered; I shall not want
In verdant pastures he give me repose:
Beside restful waters he leads me;he refreshes my soul.
He guides me in right paths for His name's sake.
Even though I walk in the darkness valley
I fear no evil; for you are at my side
With your rod and your staff that gives me courage.
You spread the talble before me in sigh of my foes;
You anoint my head with oil:
My cup overflows.
Only goodness and kindness follow me
All the days of my life;
And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
For years to come
Let met not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds
Or bends with a remover to remove;
O no: it is an ever-fixed mard
Tha looks on templates and is never shaken:
It is a star to every wondering bark,
Whose worth's unknown ,
Although his height be taken
Love's not time's fool,
Though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle compass came;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks
If this be error, and upon me proved.
I'll never writ nor no man ever loved.
