“Ya know what they say, ya gotta do what ya gotta do…”

The truck continued on its deadly course…

“Yeah…I guess…”

…the rough road under its tires and the bumping sensation over each break in the road…

“…but this is going to hurt…”

…the doors on the back swung open to reveal rocket engines…

“Ah, don’t worry bout it. We’ll be in and out in not time.”

…a red button was pressed and the massive engines ignited, sending the truck forward with a jolt of added speed forcing the passengers into the back of their seats. Rocketing through the ramp closed sign, the truck shot up the incline that was incomplete. Nearing the drop off, the driver pressed another button, sending an added burst of speed from a third rocket.

The truck launched off the ramp…it flew through the dark night air, arching across the sky. The driver had both a look of calm and exhilaration, the passenger, one of quiet calm, overlaying what was underneath. It reached the top of its arch and then started down. Down it plunged, heading for a warehouse by the docks.

“Okay, it’s time to go.”

“Yeah…this is the part that’ll hurt…”

The truck neared the warehouse, it was about to collide with the wall on the third floor…
