Mecha: General Data

Characters: Again, various types. The available ones are pure human and modified human. Modified humans are typically of either genetic or mechanic enhancement. Most genetic enhancements are only done on those of military positions, however it's possible to have them through other means, some from birth. Mechanic enhancements can be anything from artificial limbs and the like to grafted weapons and armor. Most weapon and armor modifications are more limited to military or similar classificassions. Some have had a combination of the two.

Basic humans may be at a disadvantage to modified ones, but they have a stronger constitution because of the lack of genetic tampering and are usually faster and more agile than the mechanically enhanced humans. Pure humans also have stronger potential in other areas, mainly Drive, though some geneticly modified have their mental strength enhanced to assist with Drive. Pure humans are the only ones that may call upon greater powers of spirit when close to death, however. Although typically, genetically enhanced humans are "designed" to interface better with mecha, and many with mechanic enhancements are also equipped with a device to increase their interface ability with mecha, it should be noted that some of the more rare and powerful mecha respond more to spirit power, which pure humans have in greater abundance. Also note that genetics have a standardized growth due to their genetic tampering, whereas pure humans growth rate is less standard. However, genetics gain greater amounts in the stats they are designed for.

Pure humans' strengths lie in being equally adept at most things and having more unlimited growth potential, they also tend to posess the strongest spirits and spirit power. Genetics excel in what they were designed for and will always possess a standardized growth rate as well as larger advances in the areas they were designed to be good at. Mechanics' great strength is in defense and in variability due to the available mechanical components which make them almost like miniature mecha themselves.

Stats: (Character)

Level: A semi-arbritrary measure of a character's abilities.

HP (Health Points): When this reaches 0, you're out. Doesn't necessarily mean you die though.

SP (Spirit Points): You need this to use Drive and special abilities.

Strength: Physical attack power when not in a mecha. Has small effect on mecha melee combat.

Defense: Defends from physical attacks (including weapon attacks).

Dex/NNTH: Avoidance. Higher the number, more attacks you can dodge.

Agility: Speed. Higher number means faster (has some connection with mecha piloting ability).

Drive: Drive power. Ability and strength in using Drives.

Drive Defense: This is the only protection from Drive attacks.

Spirit: This is a measure of the characters ability to draw on their Spirit and ability with it.
