Data on Mechanically enhanced Humans

Mechanically enhanced Humans are those that have, because of accident, injury, or choice, had mechanical components grafted to their bodies. The simpliest of grafts are those that replace a limb in cases of injuries. This started for soldiers and people that were involved in such things as automobile accidents or sport injuries. It was found that the mechanical components could be boosted to actually produce more force than, say, a natural arm. Although it could be argued that someone could do weight training to surpass the possibilities of the mechanical arm, it was far more time consuming and physical tissue is generally less durable.

Of course, due to the graft pocations, Mechanics are more prone to infections than Pure or Genetics over time. In addition, their mechanical components have to be replaced or repaired, unlike human bone, skin, muscle, and other human tissue, matalic components do not self regenerate. Mechanics do, however, have the largest sellection of weapons and armor due to them being able to employ mechanical enhancements that Pure Humans and Genetics can not.
