Spirit: This phenomena is relatively unknown since it seems to be rare. Many humans understand the "fight or flight" mechanism brought on by high levels of emotional output and adrenaline. It is believed this phenomena is similar. When a person is near death (below 10% of max HP) or undergoing a high emotive response to something, they have been known to unleash a burst of Spirit. This burst seems to be different depending on the person. Some unleash a massive wave of energy, some have increases in their abilities, and some transform completely, becoming capable of unleashing powerful attacks both physical and Drive based. Although classified, there are reports detailing on person piloting a mech transforming and their very mecha transforming with them. This phenomena is both rare and powerful, and as such, our scientists have had no test subjects (and besides that, the conditions to unleash this burst of Spirit would be rather difficult to set up in a laboratory test environment.) Until more recording and documentation is done, this phenomena will remain as vague and unknown as it currently is.
