SHIP COSTS AND BUILD TIMES

Fighter/Runabout: 2 days RT, 1 Dilithium

Frigate/Destroyer/Freighter: 4 days RT, 2 Dilithium

Light Cruiser/Standard Cruiser: 1 week RT, 4 Dilithium

Heavy Cruiser/Battle Cruiser: 2 weeks RT, 6 Dilithium

Battleship/Dreadnoughts: 3 weeks RT, 8 Dilithium

Shipyard: 4 weeks RT, 10 Dilithium

Outpost: 3 weeks RT, 8 Dilithium

Starbase: 6 weeks RT, 19 Dilithium

Dilithium Mine: 2 weeks RT, 12 Dilithium

Orbital Batteries: 4 days RT, 2 Dilithium

Sensor Stations: 1 week RT, 3 Dilithium

A faction can build as many ships at a time as it has Shipyards, and that it has dilithium for.

All newly constructed standard configuration ships require a 3 day RT shakedown cruise.

All newly constructed prototype vessels require a 6 day RT shakedown cruise. After a
shakedown cruise of a prototype all ships of that class built will be considered standard
types and only require a 3 day RT cruise.

The Borg can build their Scouts and Spheres from their standard shipyards. Diamonds, Tactical Cubes and Command Cubes require an Advanced Assembly Matrix to construct. Their times/costs are:

Advanced Assembly Matrix: 10 weeks RT, 30 Dilithium

Borg Scout: (Can be built in standard Borg Shipyard): 2 weeks RT, 6 Dilithium

Borg Sphere: (Can be built in standard Borg Shipyard): 3 weeks RT, 8 Dilithium

Borg Diamond: 4 weeks RT, 10 Dilithium

Borg Tactical Cube: 5 weeks RT, 12 Dilithium

Borg Command Cube: 6 weeks RT, 14 Dilithium

No Borg vessel requires a shakedown cruise.

Stations:

Orbital Batteries: 4 days RT, 2 Dilithium

Sensor Stations: 1 week RT, 3 Dilithium

Dilithium Mine: 2 weeks RT, 12 Dilithium

Outpost: 3 weeks RT, 8 Dilithium

Shipyard: 4 weeks RT, 10 Dilithium

Starbase: 6 weeks RT, 18 Dilithium

To build a station a faction must have a ship at the construction site during the entire construction process (This duty is usually delegated to non-player ships). The ships on station can be rotated but the new ship must be on station before the old one leaves. If a construction site is left without a ship then the station under construction does not get any closer to completion until a new ship arrives.

A faction does not need to have all the dilithium needed to complete a station. It can start one and build it in 50% increments. So if a faction wanted to start construction on a Starbase but only had 9 Dilithium it could. But it would need the rest of the dilithium within 3 weeks or construction would halt until the dilithium is procured.

All specialty stations use the outpost build times/costs and the specialty stations stats, with the specific bonus granted to that type of specialty (Listed with the stats). Specialty stations include Prisons, Research, Depot/Storage, Manufacturing, etc.

Decommissioning ships/stations:

To decommission a starship it must be sent to a shipyard. A shipyard can decommission a vessel at the same time it's constructing one. It takes 50% of the vessels construction time to decommission one, and the faction gains 75% of it's original dilithium cost. A station can also be decommissioned, but a ship must stay in the stations vicinity during the entire decommissioning period.

Dilitum/Latinium Costs

1 credit is lowest form of currency

10 credits = 1 strip of gold pressed latinium

10 strips of gold pressed latinium = 1 bar of gold pressed latinium

10 bars of gold pressed latinium = 1 dilithium chip

10 dilithium chips = 1 dilithium crystal
