Members and Phi Bees also participate in areas of service such as the Girl Scout organization, tutoring, donating items to shelters, Goodwill, and the Humane Society, participating in the Heart Walk, and many other personal service projects.  Each member or Phi Bee is required to complete at least 10 hours of community service. 
Phi Chi is supportive of the philanthropic efforts of other organizations on campus and often participates in events hosted by other MTSU Greeks. Phi Chi's philanthropy is the Denver Colorado Breathe Better Foundation. 
Fundraisers are held throughout the year to raise money for the Foundation.  The mission of the Breathe Better Foundation is to improve the quality of life of children and adults with asthma and allergies through patient-care, education, and community resources.
