Selected candidates will receive a letter of their selection from the director of the MTTS programme. After receiving the letter they need to send a letter of acceptance of their participation in MTTS 2004 to the local coordinator mentioning the level and the serial number quoted to left of their names. Please do not send the letter of acceptance by e-mail.

Venue and Dates
MTTS 2004 will be held at three places. The main cente is RIE Mysore where all the Levels will be conducted.
  • The Regional Institute of Education(RIE), Mysore: May 17 -- June 12, 2004.
  • Indian Instititute of Technology, Kharagpur: June 7 -- June 26, 2004 (Level I only).
  • Indian Instititute of Technology, Guwahati: June 7 -- July 3, 2004 (Level 0 & and Level I).


    • Last date for application:

    The completed application form should reach Professor S. Kumaresan latest by 21st February, 2004. Only selected candidates will be informed of their selection by the end of March 2004. The list of selected candidates will also be posted on the Websites of MTTS.


    How to Apply?

    Details and application forms can be had from the Head, Department of Mathematics of your Institution. You can click here to download the the application and recommendation forms. In case of difficulties, write to Professor S. Kumaresan by sending a self addressed and stamped (Rs. 10) envelope of size 10cm x 22cm to the address given below. Write "MTTS-2004 Application Form" on the cover of your letter. Photo copies of the application and recommendation forms can also be used.


    Seclection:

    The selection will be purely on merit, based on consistently good academic record and the recommendation letter from a mathematics professor closely acquainted with the candidate. Candidates selected for the programme will be paid sleeper class return train fare by the shortest route and will be provided with free board and lodging for the duration of the course.

    Electronic version of application forms will not be accepted.
