I would have to say Yahoshua, commonly called Jesus.
I dub him the “Immortal Communicator.” Reason being, a good communicator is one that crosses all boundaries and reach all people: for instance, a satanist by public speaking can’t entice me to listen, and I’ve heard Marilyn Mansin. Hence, an effective communicator is relative, as against really good, for I probably couldn’t make Mr. Mansin listen to me either. So, no communicator I good enough to cross all boundaries, if that is achieved then that is the best communicator. Such a person is able to persuade good, bad, evil, for, against, anti, pro, etc and those against have to try hard to hold themselves less they turn.
Jesus Christ comes the closet to this, however, his word is with spirit also – a whole different level and dimension of public speaking. By his speech he has transcend all boundaries and is able to convince the most unreachable people contrary to his nature. For example, the murderous Saul was transformed by his speech and was able to turn around to the loving Apostle Paul. The best example is me, his speech convinced me to change; quit a life of sin to a perpetual life of striving to do good and serve him. His speech changed my life, that’s enough to make him credible.
A drawback to this, in attempting to achieve it, is one will most often compromise, and that many have done, (except Christ) hence, many have tried to be this “Immortal Communicator.”
AFTER THOUGHT
* denotes – I got a tape of Les Brown in the mid or early 1990’s from oversees, as a teen caught up in the affairs of teen hood, I watched it over several times; especially when I was depressed. He really motivates you and extremely witty too. What makes him fun to watch is his patented laugh; you can’t help but laugh with him. So, one he makes me laugh yet not trying to but doing the opposite, serious motivation. Second, he knows his stuff and can draw analogy for clear visualization. His communication skills are unmatched. I don’t watch stuff like this, probably only preaching I would listen to but his public speaking will get you motivated. Oh, his telling of stories. Many more things, he’s just a brilliant communicator, should be a preacher.
